Kaili Xu is a young journalist with emerging expertise in finance, business, politics, and international issues with a focus on U.S.-China relations. She is a correspondent for Sampan, covering various events and writing news stories in both Chinese and English for the New England bilingual newspaper. Xu recently completed an internship as a State House reporter at the Patriot Ledger, a 55,000 circulation daily newspaper in Massachusetts. For most of 2008, she hosted a two-hour radio show about Asian culture on WTBU and worked as a researcher at Boston Business Journal that summer. Part of the editorial team for Loudbus Media, Xu developed content for the finance section of the online news magazine for college students. Previously, she was an intern editor at United Nations Online Network in Public Administration and Finance. A native of Shanghai, China, Xu received a master’s degree in business and economics journalism from Boston University and a bachelor's degree in English from Shanghai Normal University.
